On this momentous day, as we celebrate the birth of our nation, I always take a moment to honor my dad, whose life was intricately woven into the fabric of our country’s history. Passed away on the 4th of July, he epitomized the spirit of patriotism and dedication that our nation holds dear.

His unwavering commitment to our country and the values we cherish is a legacy that will always be remembered in my heart. Today, as the fireworks light up the sky and the echoes of celebration fill the air, I honor his memory.

Excelsior, Dad. This is your son, Gary, a little older than when I stood by your bed that July 4th morning when you said goodbye. Your son, known now as Old Doc Granger, misses you.
